Exploring Gender Inequities in the Transportation System

Join ITS America, WTS International Foundation and The Ray on February 23rd as we continue to expand the discussion on gender inequities within transportation as part of our initiative: MobilityXX- Equality Can’t Wait.

ITS America is honored to have NYU Rudin Center’s Sarah Kaufman present her work on gender differences in mobility; including data collection, safety on public transit, and challenges of caregiving. She will discuss ongoing and planned efforts toward more equitable transportation in our cities. Following her presentation, Sarah will lead a discussion with female transportation leaders to discuss the challenges these inequities present as well as possible solutions.
