Women face a wide range of disparities resulting from an ecosystem not designed for our mobility needs and travel patterns – a system in which our consideration for our safety will impact our access to good travel choices and one where simply being a woman increases the cost of travel compared to men. Comprising only 15% of the transportation workforce and even less at the CEO and C-suite level, women’s voices have long been underrepresented.
